If I Had My Life to Live Over

If I had my life to live over, I'd dare to
make more mistakes next time. I'd relax.
I would limber up. I would be sillier than
I have been on this trip. I would take fewer
things seriously. I would take more
chances. I would climb more mountains
and swim more rivers. I would eat more
ice cream and less beans. I would perhaps
have more actual troubles, but I'd have
fewer imaginary ones.

not me....I have no regrets..and the things I am not happy about doing...well forgive self and move on...learn to live better each moment, each day, each week, whatever time you have make the best of it....this is our "purpose" to be joyful, to be lively, loving, and true to self and others.....so LIVE ON AND LIVE WELL>>>>>>>>> never to late to "live life better"........hugs M

I think that's the whole point of this poem. It's not a look back in regret, but a reminder to live life now.
Everyday is the beginning of a new lifetime, so if you didn't climb that mountain yesterday, climb it today. If you stood on the riverbank today, dive in tomorrow.

I don't think the poem is remorseful; instead, it was written to be inspirational. And, that's why I shared it here.
